UKC 2020 CHAMPIONSHIP
The ultimate karting championship will host drivers between the ages of 8 and 15 for the Junior classes and 15+ for the senior classes. Racing Competitions will be held within the following kart classifications:
Iame cadets, Honda cadets , Minimax, Junior Rotax, Senior Rotax, X30 Mini, X30 Junior & X30 Senior.
One set of new tyres will be permitted per race event however the unique UKC format allows the use of the new set when you strategically wish to. This means they can be used at the start of any qualifying heat race or at the start of the final. Once they are used they must stay on your kart for the remainder of the event.
- Practice sessions 1 & 2 Saturday AM
- Qualifying heats 1 & 2 Saturday PM
- Practice session 3 & Qualifying heat 3 Sunday AM
- Finals for 34 Finalist in each category Sunday PM
Cash prizes, prestigious awards and monthly prizes provided by the series partners will be presented at every round to the podium finishers in each class. Championship points are awarded to the top 15 placed drivers with a high profile end of season prize, awarded to the champion in each class.
The UKC have partnered with FREE SPORT TV to bring the sport of karting
to millions of homes across the UK. The TV agreement will allow the
UKC series to be broadcast over 2 shows each month with each show repeating 5x throughout the month.
Our aim is to provide the drivers, teams & sponsors a fantastic platorm to showcase their talents.
